USA doesn’t like Tourists?

Going to the USA is becoming more and more like a trip to a prison, or maybe a war zone. While security is important, at what point does the price become not worth the result? My desire to visit as a tourist is decreasing every time I hear another US Customs horror story.

How to add a GeoURL for Japanese websites

GeoURL is a neat piece of metadata that lets you see what other GeoURL-registered websites/website authors are physically close to you. I’ve finally added GeoURL tags to my pages, and have discovered I’m near … some tide prediction websites. Woop!

Problems with MT:KeyValues

I’m having problems with Brad Choate’s most excellent MT:KeyValues plugin, and despite the high likelihood of user error I can only think it might be a bug. Inconceivable! Help would be greatly appreciated in pointing out the user error ;-)

Zatoichi・(座頭市) is a new movie from ‘Beat’ Takeshi, based on an old and very popular Japanese story of a blind swordsman. Fantastic sword fights, and moving ambient sounds and music make this a great movie — highly recommended!

The Chinese Foreign Ministry acts deeply offended while trying to pretend sex is not one of their biggest tourism earners. The Japanese Foreign Ministry and News Media pretends nothing happened. Changes to the Source; MetaTags, Excerpts & Comments

My latest small polishings to this weblog have involved adding Metatags (what an ordeal!), changing the formatting of long posts (like this one) in indexes, and a start on reworking comments. Oh yes, the excitement never ceases round here!
