Fleep; an intelligent cartoon

I recently came across Fleep on Aaron Swartz’ weblog. Aaron says:
Our Hero finds himself trapped a phone booth, surrounded concrete, with only what he has on him. Can he escape before oxygen runs out? Watch as he solves daring math problems and makes brave phone calls in an attempt to survive. Genius!
And here’s what the creator Jason Shiga says about it:
Fleep is everything I wish that a comic strip could be. It’s ambitous, mysterious and utterly masturbatory. About a quarter of the strips feature the main character working through various math problems. They are some of the most dramatic math problems you’ll ever see in a comic strip. I believe that Fleep is my best strip to date. It is also a complete comercial disaster.
It’s a great comic, and I highly recommend it. Aaron has compiled the Fleep episodes into one frame-free page. You might also get some laughs out of Jason’s Weblog.
