was playing Kung Fu Chaos and teaching. Kung Fu Chaos is pretty cool, but definitely needed a few more levels. The teaching was .. well teaching.
was visiting Michiko in Omiya. Her place is pretty cool and has a fantastic garden (She's part of a honke), and I wanted to take sakura photos (plus show her the wedding pictures). Although it was cloudy (with rain later) I still got a few good ones (I hope). I really really want a digital body (!), well at least a Nikon D-100 digital camera body ;-) I also got to catch up with Naomi and Masaki, plus meet Nao (who let me drive his Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor). It was my first left-hand drive and a pretty crazy experience, even if we did just drive to the convenience store. I was too worried to really have fun - maybe next time (if he's silly enough again ;-)
The most fun I've had recently is reading Anita Rowland's post on Joi Ito's Salon. She suggested I check out Antipixel and hmmmn. Bing! I knew after coming across Joi Ito's blog that it was only a matter of time before I started finding blogs in English on web design in Japan (plus living here and stuff) - sweet. With +100 Japanese blogs to check out, I'm laughing! Thanks Anita, for both the prompting and sparing me more Googling (my searching ability seems to be dropping recently - hrm)
